Miss Bethany

Reception, Teacher Assistant

  • Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada

  • B.A. Honours in English and Psychology

I have always loved working with people in social environments. Throughout university, I worked as a counselor for children aged from 3 to 17 years old at a summer camp for families affected by childhood cancer. I have also tutored and mentored children from ages 5 to 13. After graduating from university in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English literature, I moved to Hong Kong to teach English at a public vocational post-secondary college for one year.

I am thrilled working at ENS Karamyshevskaya, Reception class. I love working closely with young children and helping them explore the world through learning and play. I am looking forward to be a part of a learning environment that supports well-rounded student development through sport, play, etiquette, and the arts.

Relocating to Moscow has been a great experience; I am enjoying meeting the Muscovites and gazing at the beautiful architecture. When I am not at school, I like to sing, read poetry, play sports with friends, and travel to new places. During my time in Russia, I hope to get involved with local events and try some cultural experiences. I love to attend concerts, tour museums, and try new food!
