 The English Nursery School

is always eager to cooperate with professional teachers and assistant teachers.

About ENS:

• 3 pre-schools in Moscow
• Nursery (3-4 year olds) and Receptions (4-6 year olds) classes in each school
• Teacher to pupil ratio is 1:6, 20-25 children in each class
• All our teachers are native English speakers from UK, Canada, USA, Australia, NZ and SA.
• We teach expatriate and Russian children
• We have an abundance of resources and materials that is topped-up regularly
• Child psychologist and speech therapist on site for individual and group lessons
• Own chef on site at each school cooks healthy breakfast, morning fruit snack, 2 course lunch and afternoon snack (freshly baked cake, cookie, muffin). Teachers eat with the children.

Working at ENS Terms:

• Working hours 8.15am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
• Total of 10 weeks paid holiday per school year (September – July)
• Accommodation provided and paid for by the school: a bedroom in a flat shared with 2 or 3 other ENS Teachers, 5 minutes away from school
• Flights and visas expenses paid (one return flight per year London – Moscow – London)
• Registration with the Russian immigration authorities
• Great saving opportunity as rent and flight are paid for and the salary is after tax!

Reception Classroom Teacher - $3500 after tax per month

Teacher Requirements:

• Candidates must be English native speakers
• B.Ed., or teaching qualification
• Minimum 5 years experience in ESL with 4-6 year olds
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage of the British Curriculum is a must
• Knowledge of Jolly Phonics and the Oxford Reading Tree system is preferred
• Experience in dance, drama, arts and crafts, music and Russian are an advantage
• Couples are welcome but both must be qualified Teachers and English native speakers

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Organise daily programme and activities
• Make daily lessons plans, weekly and monthly plans and themes
• Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage of the British Curriculum
• Write reports for each child twice a year
• Arrange Parents Evening twice a year
• Supervise Assistant Teachers in the classroom
• Organize training and consulting for the Assistant Teachers
• Interact with the parents

Assistant Teacher - $2500 after tax per month

Assistant Teacher Requirements:

• Candidates must be English native speakers
• B.Ed., or teaching qualification
• Minimum 3 years experience in ESL with 4-6 year olds
• Experience in dance, drama, arts and crafts, music and Russian are an advantage
• Couples are welcome but both must be qualified Teachers and English native speakers

Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:

• Work with the Teacher towards educating the children, follow the general requirements of the Teacher
• Conform to the daily routine and timetable
• Converse with the children only in English, paying particular attention to the development of the pupils’ language skills in accordance with the Foundation Stage Programme
• Prepare and hold lessons
• Be attentive, kind and understanding towards the children; be near the children: control, direct, motivate speech and encourage involvement in the learning and playing process
• Interact with the parents at the request of the Teacher
