For many years I worked as a teaching assistant in a very large primary school and this gave me the interest in becoming a teacher. I attended Durham University and gained a BA (Hons) degree in primary education in 2004. Since then I have had the great opportunity to work in several primary schools teaching Nursery to Year 6 and in a speech and language base for children with special needs. Earlier this year a friend decided to teach in another country and this sparked an interest for me to the same. I applied at ENS after researching the school and looking at information about Russia. I was very impressed with the school organization and the country. I am hoping to inspire the children to enhance their thirst for knowledge and the world through providing ‘fun and exciting’ lessons. I believe that all children have the right to an excellent education and a good way to learn is when having ‘fun’.
